Waiting Patiently For Them To Arrive in Paradise

I took this picture of the arrivals hall at Grantley Adams International Airport as I was patiently waiting for someone to begin their wee stay in Barbados. As usual there were plenty of people milling around waiting for friends, loved ones, tourists and business people.

Grantley Adams International is a fairly busy airport, which handles over 2.3 million passengers every year. The Barbados airport use to be called Seawell Airport until 1976 when it’s name was changed to it’s present name in honor of the first Premier of Barbados, sir Grantley Herbert Adams.
