I was recently at the Notting Hill Carnival, which is the biggest festival of its kind in Europe. The streets of Notting Hill came alive to the sights, sounds and smells of the Caribbean.
There were plenty of Barbados flags flying at this years Carnival and quite a few people with Bajan blood in them. It was a fun packed couple of days, with people having a good time and enjoying the Caribbean vibes.
I wouldn’t have minded a few bottles of ice cold Banks Beer, but alas I had to make do with some Mount Gay Rum, which went down a treat.
